Kawasaki KFX Ninja Extreme

The Kawasaki KFX Ninja Extreme by Powerwheels is the previous generation of the new KFX Ninja Ultimate which has many new and upgraded features such as:

12-volts of battery power which allow for two speeds forward 2.5 and 5 mph, max.; plus reverse. Also has a battery charge indicator, high-speed lock-out for beginners and power lock (r) brake system. Includes 12-volt battery and charger, new aggressive oversize tires 13 1/2 inch and wheel package, colored shock boot covers, updated real metal handlebar configuration including a battery charge indicator, as well as updated colors and graphics. The kawasaki kfx restage is the only 12-volt battery powered ride on that gives the realism, thrill and excitement of atv adventures with 13 1/2 inch tires and a battery charge indicator.

The main difference is in the updated colored shock boots, the new graphics and the updated metal handlebar configuration which includes a new battery charge indicator.  Other than that the Ultimate and the Extreme are very similar machines that should both perform simlarly.  If you're shopping for one for you kid I would go with a newer updated Kawasaki KFX Ninja Ultimate over the Extreme.
